2025 Distinction Hotels Te Anau Tennis Invitational

The Distinction Hotels Te Anau Tennis Invitational is held in Te Anau each year on the 28th & 29th of December. Come and watch some of New Zealand’s finest male tennis players battle it out for a prize pool of over $25,000!

The 2025 event marks the 13th Edition of this iconic Fiordland tournament. With fast-paced action, top-level tennis, and courtside excitement, it’s the perfect way to enjoy summer in Te Anau. We would love to see you there.

Spectator Details:

Play begins at 9:30am on Day One, so we encourage spectators to arrive a little early to find a good spot and settle in before the action starts. General entry is $15.00 per adult, and children aged 13 and under are free, making it a great family-friendly event.

Entry to the tournament is located down the driveway to the Tennis Courts, just to the right of the main entrance of the Fiordland Community Events Centre. Once inside, you’ll find grandstand seating available on a first come, first served basis. If you prefer a more relaxed viewing experience, there is also plenty of grassy space courtside—perfect for spreading out a picnic blanket and enjoying the tennis in comfort.

A selection of hot and cold drinks, along with tasty food options, will be available for purchase throughout the day, so you can stay refreshed while you watch the matches unfold.
